A new wave of Middle-earth Funko Pops for December 2026

Tolkien fans can already get ready: a new wave of Funko Pop The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit is announced for December 2026, with a series of spectacular figures designed for collectors. Between legendary creatures, iconic heroes, and illuminated dioramas, this release promises to become a must-have for all lovers of Middle-earth.

New Funko Pop "The Hobbit"

According to the promotional visual already circulating among some specialized retailers, six new Funko Pops inspired by The Hobbit trilogy are arriving in December 2026. They feature key characters and a cult creature, available in deluxe or metallic versions that will make collectors' display cases shine.

Here is the list of models announced on the poster:

• Smaug (Deluxe) – Metallic : an imposing Smaug, in a deluxe version with a metallic finish, perfect for dominating your shelf as he dominates Erebor.
• Kili & Fili (2‑Pack) : the two dwarf brothers reunited in a double pack, ideal for completing your Thorin's company.
• Woodland King : the Woodland King (Thranduil) in all his elven majesty, to bring a touch of grandeur to your collection.
• Thorin – Metallic : Thorin Oakenshield in a metallic version, which further highlights his armor and his status as King Under the Mountain.
• Bilbo Baggins : an adventurous Bilbo, faithful to the movie version, essential for any The Hobbit set.
• Azog with Weapon : Azog armed, ready for battle, perfect for creating dynamic scenes against the dwarves.

Thanks to this wave, it becomes possible to recreate the highlights of the Battle of Five Armies or the scenes in Lake-town, with a balance between heroes, antagonists, and creatures.

New Funko Pop "The Lord of the Rings"

The second poster highlights the world of The Lord of the Rings, with a selection of figures centered around the forces of darkness and a fan-favorite hero. This wave combines special formats (Super, Town, Premium) and glow-in-the-dark effects for a spectacular display.

The announced figures are:

• Balrog (Super – SFX) : a "Super" format Balrog, with SFX effects, designed to recreate the mythical duel in Moria against Gandalf.
• Barad‑dûr (Town) – Glows in the Dark : a "Town" version of Barad-dûr, Sauron's fortress, with a glow-in-the-dark effect that should make the Eye of Sauron shine in the dark.
• Sauron with Weapon (Premium) – Glows in the Dark : a premium format Sauron, armed, who also benefits from a luminous effect to reinforce his terrifying aura.
• Samwise Gamgee : Sam, the heart of the Fellowship of the Ring, balances this wave very much oriented towards the "forces of evil" and will naturally find his place alongside Frodo and the other Hobbits.

This selection is a continuation of recent LOTR waves (Éomer, Faramir, Boromir, Guritz, Pippin…), and further densifies a collection centered on Peter Jackson's trilogy.
